New “Velum MK2” is better, faster, more accurate, and produces three times more smoke. It is compatible with all our launching devices, including TAG-ML36.
Mark the waypoint, deploy a smokescreen, or blind your opponents at the 150+ meters distance - it is only your decision, now you can do it in no time. The pack of “Velums” is coming in a bundle of 10 individual projectiles. Use them in the right situation, and your squad will be unbeatable.
*Best and most consistent results will be had with ML36 or CO2 Shells. Green Gas shells may not activate the rounds.

VELUM-MK2 Smoke Grenade
I used ten of these at Bonestrike. Five worked and produced a decent amount of smoke. Five didn't produce any smoke at all. I consider a failure rate that high to be unacceptable. I would rate them 5 stars but with a 50% failure rate, I give them 3 stars. I hope that TAGinn improves Quality Control on their products and that these function more reliably in the future.

Velum smoke grenades
These things are awesome, like all Tag grenades. It’s great to launch smoke from much farther than you can throw by hand. Only knock is that the smoke volume is not a lot. Just launch two and the smoke volume is adequate. Really cool none the less!
